This past year, I have really been getting into music. It has such an influence in my life and I have really loved exploring the different genres. I listen to many types of music but I definatly have those few artists and bands that I know I can really depend on for making music that I know i'll love.
Pop
In this genre, I think my favorite band would be The Summer Set. Not a lot of people know about them which is sad because they are so good. The lead singer Brian Logan Dales has a very unique voice which adds a little bit of an edge to their music. Recently they came out with a new album called Legendary which I would really recommend checking out. My favorite song from it would probably be Boomerang because I love the beat and the lyrics.
Punk
For this, I would probably choose Nevershoutnever. They are a punk band, but they are not too over the top. They have really songs that always continue to make me happy. My favorite song by them would probably be On the Brightside.
Rap
My last category would probably be rap. For this I chose Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. I did not hear about them, though, the same way most of America did. My brother showed me their song Same Love and I immediatly had the deepest respect for them. Ever since then I have been listening to The Heist non stop because it is that good.
